Board of School Education, Himachal Pradesh invites online application for Teacher Eligibility Test- June 2020 for Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts/ Medical/ Non-Medical), Shastri, Language Teacher, Junior Basic Training (JBT), Punjabi Language Teacher and Urdu Language Teacher. BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, HIMACHAL PRADESH INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST- JUNE 2020 FOR TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (ARTS/ MEDICAL/ NON-MEDICAL), SHASTRI, LANGUAGE TEACHER, JUNIOR BASIC TRAINING (JBT), PUNJABI LANGUAGE TEACHER AND URDU LANGUAGE TEACHER. TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST- JUNE 2020

1. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (ARTS)

Educational Qualification: i) B.A/ B.Com with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

ii) B.A/ B.Com with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed upto 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30-08-2009) and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

iii) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years B.A.Ed.

OR

v) B.A/ B.Com with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (Special Education).

2. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (NON-MEDICAL)

Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

ii) B.Sc (NM) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed upto 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30-08-2009) and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

iii) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years B.Sc (NM) Ed.

OR

v) B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (Special Education).

3. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (MEDICAL)

Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc (Medical) with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

ii) B.Sc (Medical) with at least 45% marks (only for those who have passed B.Ed upto 30-08-2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed after 30-08-2009) and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

iii) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years B.Sc (Medical) Ed.

OR

v) B.Sc (Medical) with at least 50% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (Special Education).

4. SHASTRI

Educational Qualification: Shastri with at least 50% marks from an Institution/ University recognized by H.P.

5. LANGUAGE TEACHER

Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Hindi as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known).

OR

ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education.

OR

v) Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

vi) M.A (Hindi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

6. JUNIOR BASIC TRAINING (JBT)

Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/ University and should possess 02 years JBT certificate course from a recognized Institute.

OR

ii) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

iii) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

v) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).

OR

vi) Graduation and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

7. PUNJABI LANGUAGE TEACHER

Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Punjabi as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education.

OR

v) Giani with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

vi) M.A (Punjabi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Note: Graduation from a recognized University with Punjabi as a subject during the 03 year of graduation, B.Ed with teaching of Punjabi (State Teacher Eligibility Test).

8. URDU LANGUAGE TEACHER

Educational Qualification: i) B.A with Urdu as an elective subject and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

ii) B.A with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

iii) B.A with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

iv) B.A with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education.

OR

v) B.T with 50% marks followed by B.A Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

vi) M.A (Urdu) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Note:- i) Adeeb-Kamil from jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/ equivalent to B.A with Urdu.

Moallim-e Urdu from jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/ equivalent to B.Ed for teaching Urdu.

ii) Pass in Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by H.P Board of School Education Dharamshala. Provided that the incumbents who have already qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by H.P Board of School Education Dharamshala shall also be eligible subject to the condition as laid in part-II of guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for the TET.

Note: Relaxation upto 5% in minimum Educational Qualification and also in munimum qualifying marks for TET to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PHH categories of Himachal Pradesh.

Candidates pursuing any of the teacher Education Programme in its final year are eligible for appearing in the TET examination.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Teacher Eligibility Test- June 2020 which will be conducted from 26/07/2020 to 09/08/2020. The TET Examination will be conducted in various centers within Himachal Pradesh at District/ Sub-division Headquarters. For more details please see the officially released advertisement.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.800/- (Rs.500/- for OBC/ ST/ SC/ PHH). Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen.
