ASSAM PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (ASSAM PSC) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 577 ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL), JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL) AND ASSISTANT ARCHITECT. LAST DATE — 24/07/2020
1. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 222 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.E or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized Institute.
ii) The Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering must be a Regular Course. Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering obtained through Distance Mode of Education will not be accepted.
iii) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 01 official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.30000 — Rs.110000
2. JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 344 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Must have passed Engineering (Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering) from any recognized Institution.
ii) The Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering must be a Regular Course. Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering obtained through Distance Mode of Education will not be accepted.
iii) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 01 official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.14000 — Rs.60500
3. ASSISTANT ARCHITECT
No. of Vacancies: 11 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelors Degree in Architecture from a recognized University.
ii) Should be registered with the Council of Architecture, India.
iii) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 01 official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.30000 — Rs.110000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.

Note:- Only candidates who are permanent resident of Assam are eligible to apply for the above posts.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening/ Written Test and Viva-Voice/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.250/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC candidates). Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PWD/ BPL CANDIDATES.
