PARLIAMENT OF INDIA, LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 47 TRANSLATOR. LAST DATE — 27/07/2020

TRANSLATOR

No. of Vacancies: 47 Nos. (UR-13, SC-03, ST-05, OBC-17, EWS-09. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for PWD (HI))

Educational Qualification: i) Master’s Degree in Hindi from a recognised University with English as a subject at the Degree Level.

OR

Master’s Degree in English from a recognised University with Hindi as a subject at the Degree Level.

OR

Master’s Degree in any subject from a recognised University with Hindi and English as subjects at the Degree

Level.

OR

Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi medium from a recognised University and English as a subject at the Degree Level.

OR

Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium from a recognised University and Hindi as a subject at the Degree Level.

ii) Diploma/ Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from any recognised University/ Institute OR 02 years experience of Translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa.

Age Limit: Maximum 27 years (29 years for the candidates having the prescribed translation work experience of 02 years) as on 27/07/2020.

Pay Scale: Rs.47600 — Rs.151100

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination namely Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. For details regarding center(s) of examination please see the officially released advertisement.
